The purpose of the Rockingham Shopping Centre Facebook page is generally for customers to keep updated with what is happening in the centre.
The main function of the site is to add a further communication channel for the Shopping Centre’s retailers to deliver any special offers or events to their customers. For example a 20% storewide sale, products launch or a special store birthday. Retailers are able to utilise Facebook via the status update option which the marketing department at the centre update at least once daily during week days. This works as a great tool for retailers to reach out to their customers through the “liking” option as well as the potential of their customers to share with their friends which then reaches out to a larger audience. Facebook is a great alternative to PA announcements to help get retailers promotional message out to customers.
Another purpose of the centre’s Facebook site is to add photos of any past promotional activities and or events that the centre has held. This is a good way for both customers and retailers to see how they event went as well as the potential for participants to see themselves in photos which creates a connection feeling between the centre and customer.
Rockingham Shopping Centre also uses their Facebook page as a way for their customers to communicate any feedback and or recommendations they have for the centre.

Sunday 11.00am to 5.00pm
Terry White Chemist is open until 8.00pm every night plus Sundays from 9.00am until 8.00pm.
